I tried a search on here and some other sites but I still can’t seem to find a good program for file management on my iPod. It’s a new 80GB iPod Classic that can play video (not sure what generation it is). I’m looking for a good program that will put videos, music, and pictures on it WITHOUT using iTunes. I can’t use iTunes because the files on my HDD shift around alot and that would cause them to be removed from the iTunes library which would then be removed from the iPod when I sync it. I tried sharepod but it didn’t work too great and I don’t think it allowed video. Can someone please give me some names of some more competent programs? Thanks in advance.
I have come the realization that I can just not sync with iTunes, setting it to manual sync so it doesn’t automatically do it when I hook it up. Then I can add and remove through the iTunes interface by dragging and dropping (what I consider the annoying, less technical way) without loosing anything as long as I don’t sync. Hope this helps someone.
